Scene 29: Bridal Shower
Went to a bridal shower last weekend. My good friend Housekeeper was there. A bunch of us were standing around talking in the kitchen when she busted out w/ a typical shorty line:Housekeeper: Ugh, I hate talking to you guys. You make me feel short!
Yeah... I get that a lot. ;-)

This one is just narcissistic of you. Did it occur to you that the comment was directed to the other people in the conversation, not you, or are you under the delusion that every comment relating to height is about you? It’s convenient that you neglect to mention that the other two people standing in the circle were both 5’7” (not including the high healed shoes they were wearing), by no means extraordinary tall. Seeing as how I am barely 5’5” and both ladies were my nieces-people that I once toward over but now have to look up at to make eye contact-, it would reason that they were the ones making me feel short not you, your presence was just gravy (note: the comment was not made until they entered the conversation). I’ve know you since we were nine and you’ve always been taller then me, so why would standing next to you making me feel short be comment worthy? Were as, my 13 year old niece being taller is something that is somewhat shocking and elicited that comment. Seeing how I am the shortest in my family, being taller then me is a milestone that the youth in my take a considerable joy in achieving and teasing me about…ps I’m five weeks pregnant, so you can’t get mad at me for this rant.

I kinda knew last thurday when I didn't get my period, but I didn't take a pregnancy test until monday morning. And since the whole cyst thing and I've been spotting, I had to have some more tests done with my doctor. Tests came back today saying that growth was normal, but until I'm done spotting I have to take it easy.
Hooray for our houekeeper!!!!!
