Scene 176: Marriage Ceremony

Thanks for reminding me Shannon. I almost forgot to blog about the tall comment our priest made during our marriage ceremony. First, I love this picture cuz it makes the priest look like a hobbit. :-) I don't remember exactly what he said, cuz I was really nervous, but I think he wanted us to stand on the step so that he could stand in front of us for the exchange of the rings. Well, then he realized he'd look even shorter than he actually was, so he said, "No wait, you guys come down here,": or something to that effect. Is that about it Shannon? Like I said, it's pretty fuzzy.. all I know is there was a height disparity joke thrown in there somewhere.

Nice picture. Was the priest something like 5'6", or shorter?

I didn't ask, but I would guesstimate he's about 5'4"-5'5".

He was standing in front of you guys and made the comment that he had to move to he right b/c it was the first time the couple or bride or whatever hid him from the crowd.

Raging conservative? Can I be www.savageliberal.come ?

Found your blog at random. Don't know you from a hole in the wall. Reading your chronicles was eye-opening. I just wanted to say that you look beautiful in that picture. Any gawkers/weirdos/etc that think you're anything else are stupid.

I have twice in my life told very tall women that seeing them made my day. If I saw anyone who looked as stunning as you do in this picture, I'd definitely be smiling for the rest of the day.

By the way, both women smiled and said that I made their day with the compliment. I became quite friendly with one of them and was ever amused at the looks she got from people. Anything unique or rare is to be cherished. If I look, it is purely in admiration.

You're stunning. Simply, beautiful.

p.s. Unrelated but, last time I was asked my height, I replied that I was 5'6" but wearing really high heels. The person that asked me didn't get it and actually looked down at my feet (I'm a guy) but the icing on the cake was this old, British guy that overheard and just about pissed himself laughing.

COME BACK!

You don't seem to believe the sincerity compliments people give you.

But really, you're beautiful. As in, CLASSICALLY beautiful.
